Julie began working for Gerard Malouf & Partners Compensation Lawyers in 2001 during her last year of her double degree, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business. Julie was admitted as Solicitor in 2002 and progressed in her career at Gerard Malouf and Partners, moving into the roles of Solicitor, Associate, Senior Associate and then Partner in 2018.
In 2012, Julie successfully completed her Accreditation in Personal Injury Law. She is a recognised expert in her area and has Personal Injury Specialist Accreditation from the Law Society of NSW. To maintain her accreditation, Julie undertakes additional professional development and education in her area of expertise each year.
Having both a feisty and intelligent persona, Julie does not let opposition create roadblocks for her clients. Julie loves working in personal injury law, as it is an area of law where she can give back to the greater community, assist clients who are injured and make a difference to their lives. A major element that gives Julie satisfaction in her work is accomplishing and achieving great results for clients.
One of her admirable skills is that of her ability to listen attentively to her clients and to ascertain not only what their needs are, but also to simultaneously be working toward a solution that will see her clients achieve a successful win.
Julie’s main areas of practice include Medical Negligence and Child Sexual Abuse and Institutional Abuse. Julie also practices in all areas of personal injury law including Motor Vehicle Accident, Public liability, Work Injury Damages and also Professional Negligence claims.
On a personal note, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, watching sports and of course shopping.
