Katie completed her studies at Sydney University, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2017, having previously completed a Bachelor of International and Global Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons). Katie was admitted as a solicitor in June 2018.
Katie began working for Gerard Malouf & Partners in May 2018, building on her previous experience working as a paralegal for both a Barrister and solicitors for the last 4 years. Such experience has taught Katie how to approach cases from an analytical sense, in the hopes of achieving the best result possible for clients, but also from a place of empathy noting how cases of another’s negligence have affected their lives. Katie hopes to continue to build on this experience while working under the guidance of Ray Abbas, as part of the Medical Negligence team.
Katie’s enjoys spending time with friends and family, and in her free time loves baking, reading and walking around Sydney Harbour.
