Recep is a solicitor with a broad range of experience in Medical Negligence litigation in the District and Supreme Courts of NSW.
He has carriage of various medical negligence matters including but not limited to Emergency Department and Nursing Negligence, Anaesthesia and Surgical Errors, General Practitioner Negligence, and Reporting Errors by Radiologists.
Recep has developed a strong technical understanding of medical negligence litigation. The hallmark of his approach is attention to detail. He appreciates the importance of carefully reviewing clinical records, researching the medicine using medical journals, exploring all angles and using the right medical experts.
Whilst medical negligence is Recep’s principal area of practice, he maintains a practice in other common law areas including public liability claims such as slips, trips and falls, animal attacks (dog bites) and unsafe premises.
After working in negligence compensation law since joining the legal profession, Recep has learnt that clients are not just after a lawyer to get an outcome. Rather, it is qualities such as empathy, trust, active listening and other non-legal factors that create real value in Recep’s work.
Prior to joining the firm, Recep was working in Remediation and Risk Consulting at a ‘Big 4’ firm which enabled him to develop analytical skills. He now has a thorough approach to the conduct of medical negligence and public liability litigation.
Recep is committed to delivering good results for his clients by ensuring matters are properly investigated and prepared to a high standard.
Outside of work, Recep enjoys spending quality time with his family, going for walks, finding Sydney’s underrated restaurants, and watching Rugby League.
