Our client from Western Sydney was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a motor vehicle accident which occurred in 2018. In this matter, the driver at fault was driving in the opposite direction and had clipped the median strip, entering our client’s lane. The driver of the vehicle which our client was in had attempted to steer the vehicle to avoid a collision, however, it was unfortunately unavoidable.
Our client sustained significant physical injuries to his lower back, hips, pelvis, leg, knee and femur. Further, the young man sustained psychological injuries including anxiety and depression. To treat all physical injuries sustained as a result of the collision, our client was transported to Westmead hospital where he underwent surgery.
Upon receiving notice in relation to the CTP insurer’s position not to concede, our Motor Vehicle Accident’s team immediately requested an internal review. Further, our team continued to collate and obtain evidence which indicated the level of impairment our client experienced due to his injuries and their impact to his physical wellbeing.
